Default Removal of applications on devices using BES

Does anyone know how to send a command from the BES server to remove certain applications from the blackberry devices. I am about to deploy Bold 9650 devices and there are applications on the devices that we are not allowed to use in our company due to security policies. I have to many devices to try to uninstall all those applications manually from each device and I also have devices located through out the US that I manage remotely. I just want to delete the applications. We have proxy in place that keeps users from trying to download the apps from the internet so once they are removed we should be ok. I know there is a way to set something up through the software configuration tab but I am having a hard time find .alx and .cod files for the applications I need to remove. I need to remove facebook, twitter, myspace and Flickr. I also would like to remove the vcast applications that Verizon puts on these devices. Does anyone know where I can find these files or even how to create them?

Out of the box, those are just links to download the apps. You can set your IT policy to disallow 3rd party app download/instal and that should solve the problem. There's also an IT policy to block social networking apps.

I tried this for our agency and the problem with setting your IT policy to disallow 3rd party app download/install is that it pretty much blocks all 3rd party apps including gmail, weather, etc.

I was just wanting to remove all the crap Verizon pushes down like VZWTones, VZ Navigator, etc. Hopefully RIM will provide us with something like this in the future.
