Default Refresh IT Policy Updates on Handheld

My BES adminstrator made a change to our IT Policy to allow full Facebook 1.6 integration with the contact and calendar applications. Unfortunately, none of the users have access to these functions despite the policy change.

Is there a way to update/refresh the IT policy on the handheld besides a complete security wipe?

The BES Admin can right click on a user in the BES and select Resend IT Policy. They can also see when a policy has been delivered to the device and which policy it is.

Doing a device wipe will *NOT* remove the existing IT policy from the device.

Thanks. I had my BES Admin do that. He saw the policy change go through. I rebooted and see that the policy was updated. However, I am still unable to access the FB integration I want even after the policy update and reinstalling FB.

Is there something else I have to do on my handheld for the policy to take effect?

No - the policy takes immediate effect, it is more likely that the changes made to the IT policy have had the desired affect. You could test this by either pushing the policy to another device and seeing if it can access the FB integration, or getting the BES admin to send the "Default" IT policy to your device.
