Default Quickpull on BES

We just installed BES 5.0 for Exchange and I must say all of the options can be quite overwhelming. Several users have quickpull installed on their phones. We are unable to run Quickpull because the BES is Denying the Keystroke Injection permission and Seucrity Timer Reset. I also noticed we are unable to change the Browser Filtering and Screen Capturing permissions on the phones.

Currently security is set to default which, from my understanding, should basically allow users full control over the phone. We basically want to use it for Calendar, e-mail, and contact sync, at least for now.

Does anybody know what exactly I need to go and change this so users are able to control all of their permissions?

I found out what permissions need to be changed. It turns out there are a few that are denied by default through application control policy. Is there a way to change what the defaults are or will I be required to push out Quickpull from the BES? It would be preferrable to allow our users to install applications themselves and give them full access to permissions.

I am on BES 5 and a Storm2 with Quickpull and I haven't had any conflicts. Copy the default IT policy and rename it, make the changes, then apply the policy to your users. You shouldn't need to push from the BES.

We actually ended up creating a generic application control policy and pushing that out to a group. There are so many options available it can be quite overwhelming.
