Default Public Contacts Syncing broken after Corrupt Exchange 2003 Restore

So we have an SBS 2003 Server running Exchange 2003 and BESX 5.0.2 (maybe 5.0.3 I don't remember)

On Wednesday, the power was pulled from that server. When the server was started up again, the exchange 2003 mailbox store and public store had become corrupt. So we restored the stores from a backup (not the whole server, just the mailbox store and the public store).

So after restarting the bes services and doing an rset on the contacts syncing everything seems to be working fine with the BBs... cept for public contact syncing. I checked the permissions and they were as they've been since before the corruption. The users are all at least reviewers and besadmin is the owner of the public contacts folder.

When I go into the web desktop manager, under the Public Folder section, it just says "Not Defined"

I tried removing the besadmin owner permission then gpupdate /force then restarting the bes services, readding the owner permission, gpupdate /force again, and then restarting the bes services and still it doesn't work.

I even tried making a new public contact folder with a different name and assigning the besadmin owner permission and the bes user reviewer permissions to that and still "Not Defined"

Help please? This office really only uses the Public Contacts for their main contacts and if this doesn't work my boss will be very upset...
