Default Private global contact list

Looking for suggestions on how to implement this...

Scenario. Executives have a Word document of other executives, etc. which contains their home numbers, cell phone, and direct office numbers. They want this information to be available on their Blackberry for Continuity of Operations. Of course with about 100k users on Exchange, adding in direct numbers to Execs is out of the question.

Of course one could say, just import the contact from the Global Address List and maintain the data in the contact portion of Outlook. That would require every executive to then manage the contact manually, not an option given technical levels. I need the ability to have the administrative assistant responsible for maintaining the data to update the contact in one place and the information to be pushed to the required parties. The list is about 50 individuals.

Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And third party apps are perfectly fine. I just haven't been able to come up with a match yet.

Try and take a look at creating custom address books in Exchange, and limiting that to the execs. Maybe even use a public folder just for contacts.. might be the best bet. For third party apps, take a look at Xobni. Im not sure if it will create new address lists.

Thanks. I actually ran into this late last week, and we're currently evaluating: ShareContacts: Share and synchronize Outlook Contacts.

Works pretty well, only downside is that you manually have to go into each user on the BES and tell it to sync the new contact listing.
