Default Please help a newbie with BES and email policies

Hello,

Recently got a member of staff the first blackberry in the organisation. Installed blackberry enterprise server express so it would work with Exchange 2003.

All's well however they seemed to have an issue where they couldn't access their e-mail early this morning, but later on they could get in fine. The thought being there is some sort of access security policy applied somewhere. I had a look at BES and there is a default IT policy but nowhere can I see time-based e-mail restrictions.

has anyone heard of this and knows what exactly causes this and how to disable it.

thanks in advance

There is no IT policy available on BES Express for time based IT policy, this seems to be an issue.
1. Check your Firewall connections in the mornign and make sure that the SRP is getting connected.
2. Check connetion between BES and Exchange in the morning time.
You can find more details from BES Logs if you analyse for the morning time.
