OS 5.0.0.238 Beta, Missing email options for auto signature and out of office reply

Having complete control over my blackberry while connected to BES, I have noticed that when I upgraded to 5.0.0.238 that I lost the ability to set my enterprise email signature and set an out of office reply. I did the browser fix (get an error message everytime I open the browser but it works after I press OKAY) and everything else has worked perfectly. I have checked all of my IT policies and service books, but still, no dice.

Has anyone else experienced or heard of this issue with 5.0.0.238 and BES?

do you have any BIS accounts setup on the same device? if so when you go into email settings you may be looking at your BIS options and not the Desktop options. This happened to me before.

I kept thinking that was my issue too, but unfortunately it is not. Maybe thats why this is still a beta!? ha

I have the exact issue but with the newer Verizon Tour OS 5.0.0.591 upgrade

Top Left slide button:
Before it used to lock the phone prompting you to enter password
Now it locks the keypad with no password


Edit Signature:
Takes the info from Owner Info screen when typing Sig in new email (unless owner info is blank)
However my Custom signature that I had previously
When sending out emails still shows just can't edit

Has anyone found a resolution to this? We just upgraded our server from Blackberry Professional to Blackberry Enterprise and those options disappeared on the 8530's only. It is still on the 8330's.
My 8530 is at version 5.0.0.459.

I just noticed today that on my 9650, running 5.0.0.810 (on BES), that signature and out of office are missing on my BB. Not sure how long it has been missing either - if it has been this way since I upgraded from my 8330 to this 9650 in June, or if it was when I upgraded the OS from .732 to .810 (I haven't changed my signature in about a year).

I'm not sure that it's OS specific or not, but I was able to solve it by deleting the Desktop [CMIME] and Desktop [SYNC] service books from the device, then resending service books from BES. Hope that helps.

Deleting the service books, Desktop [CMIME] and Desktop [SYNC] corrected the problem for me. I now have control of Signature and Out Of Office Reply from my Blackberry Desktop messages icon, under Options, Email Preferences. Good news!

However, getting my help desk guys to complete their end - to push the new service books to my device was another kettle of fish...

In the end the issue was corrected - I'm happy.
