OMG I Killed my 7100i... Update Failed
I was attempting to run the multilanguage update on my 7100i provided by Blackberry and durring the process the phone threw up a white screen with an icon in the middle that shows a box containing a circle, square, and a triangle then a circle with a line through it around the entire Icon.. the number 507 underneath. I have retried the install, many difffernt times and finally even rmoved the SIM card only to see the same thing each time the battery is installed.
Someone please tell me that i didnt smoke the damn thing. Tell me that there is a reset button somwhere... As of now i cant get the Device manager to recognize the USB connection but i beleive once i reboot that will work again.
Im looking for any suggestions...

It's not dead. The OS is just erased or corrupt. USB connection still works because it's part of the BB's bootstap which is in NVRAM. That said, download the "entire" OS update for your BB from your carrier's website. Install it on your PC. Reboot the BB and with BB Desktop Manager open plug in the USB. It'll tell you that it needs to install an OS. Just follow the onscreen directions from there.
