New handset problems
OK so one day one of my BES users got a new blackberry.
'Simple' I thought. 'Just set the password on the existing user and run the enterprise activation on the new phone'. Wrong! the BES smites me. Like an IT pro I turn the other cheek. I find the .dat file is being sent to both blackberries so the new blackberry just sticks on retrying activation.
'Ok Ok' I think. 'Backup the emails on the users old handset then delete the user from BES and then create the user again.. the blackberry gods will surely then smile on their humble servant.. right?'... Wrong! the BES smites me again..Now it the user is stuck in intialising and the phone is stuck on retrying activation.
In anguish I turn to the crackberry forums..
