New Exchange Account Requires Reinitialized Blackberry?
Hopefully someone can lend some insight on this one. We had an exchange issue recently that required us to set-up a 'dial tone' database for one of our mail stores to get users back online, and then recover the database and re-import that data back through a recovery store. During this time we shut down the BES services to prevent the hand helds from 'syncing' with the now blank mailboxes/contact/calendars.
Now that the Mail store has been restored, we have re-enabled the BES services, and the devices all show in the BES administration interface as 'initializing' even though they still show associated PIN numbers for the devices.
I'm guessing that since the Unique ID for the exchange account has changed, that we are going to have to take additional steps to get the hand helds back on-line, but want take the route that requires the least intervention at the hand held level.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks..
