New Bes user issue

Hi, have added a new user to a BES 4.1.7 server, adds in manager fine, set activation password as a but when trying to set up on the BB it keeps coming up email or password incorrect, have tried with another user in the domain with the same group permissions etc on the same phone and all is fine.

Have been over the permissions with a fine tooth comb and both users are the same, the user with the issue did not have besadmin in their security permissions but have added this and has not made a difference, am running out of ideas now as to what it could be, would i have to restart server after changing user permissions?

Any help would be much appreciated.

are the users or an exchange email server? if so, what version? besadmin user needs to have to correct permission such as send as , etc.. on the exchange databases. have you checked the event logs on the server?
