Default New to BES, Syncing with Exchange

Hello everyone I am very new to this so bare with me. I have been a long time Crackberry user but recently been put in charge of "managing" the blackberries at my very small office. I am only talking about 3 or 4 users, others using Droids and Iphones. All my users are with Verizon and have BIS accounts. I have installed BES Express on our server and want to sync my users Blackberries with their exchange mail, including the calendar wirelessly synced to their devices. Is this possible or will I have to shell out more money to Verizon? Verizon says I have to pay extra for corporate accounts but this just doesn't seem right to me. I have been reading from Verizon and Web forums for days and get every answer under the sun. HELP!

You can do a wired activation of BIS enabled devices.

I thought I could do that, and after the accounts are activated wired, then the calendar and all should sync via wireless, correct. That was my thinking on the matter, I thought the calendar functions were "tied" to an email account for lack of a better term and if that account was activated with BES then those options would be available.

That is correct.
