New Admin Need Help w/ BES & Weather Channel App

I apologize before hand because I don't have much knowledge in the field, I am a new BES administrator so please bare with me.

We are running BES server 4.? on a windows 2k3 server with open IT policies (users are free to download and browse whatever they want). It has come to my attention that the Weather Channel app can not find the users location and produces the following error message:
";deviceside=false; connectiontype=mds-public wifi not supported"
"Invalid URL Parameter"
Please advise me on what settings to check on the server or settings within the app itself. There are no other issues with any other apps, WeatherBug works fine.

check the default application control policy that users are assigned to to see how it's interfering with this app
