I'm the first to admit I'm new to Blackberry Server Administration- so please bear with me

I'm getting an error "Unable to send messages by email. BlackBerry Manager was unable to open the default message store of the MAPI Profile used to initialize MAPI" when I try to send an e-mail from BES (or activate a device by e-mail).

Do you have any suggestions?

The BES Admin account/mailbox must tie to an outlook mailbox in the outlook profile. here is what you do..
1) login into the BES server with the ID that you installed BES (most likely is BESAdmin)
2) click BES application in program files and selete "Edit MAPI profile"
3) setup this profile like an outlook client so the server know the mailbox of BESADMIN.
