Default make a policy change to just one account??

Hi, my personal BB is on the BES at my company and they allow personal and work devices to be connected.

My problem is this, they have blocked OTA and desktop manager software upgrades. because this is my personal BB, i want to be able to run them. Can the administrator change that setting for just my account??

The BB Admin can do that for you, however company policy may prohibit it.

They may be worried about unsecured threats also, so most likely they wont

Hi xlover,
as far as I remember, If you only have a BIS plan you will not be able to make OTA.
You have to have a BES data plan. With a BIS plan you can only make activation either through the BES itself or the DTM.
For your DTM, you can uninstall it and install the latest one.

I got two Tour's on BIS only and they can do OTA updates but you can't push Applications like you can on a BES....
