Default Mail address in HTTP Header affected by TLS security option?.

Dear all,

we would like to add a device user's mail address to the HTTP header of a request in order to use this information for authentication puposes. As found on the BlackBerry support forums, the BES can be configured in a way to support this scenario by changing the rimpublic.property file.
Does this solution work with both TLS options, "handheld" and "proxy" (configurable in Options -> Security Options -> TLS)? We will most likely use the "Handheld" setting, meaning that our HTTPS connection is "tunneled" through the BES. Would this affect the adding of the mail information to the HTTP header?

Thanks for your help and best regards,

Markus
