Default Lookups fail intermittently

I have lookups that seem to fail intermittently. It occurs randomly, can happen once a week for a month, and then not happen again for 3 months, then every other week.

The lookup still works, it returns the users PIN, Email, and partial address. It does not show company name, any phone numbers etc.

A restart of the BES fixes the issue.

I'm running BES 5.0 and up to MR3. SP1 hasn't been installed yet.

DC/GC's are Server 2003 R2, mail system is Exchange 2003 SP2.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Where's your GC's located in relationship to your Exchange server? Any event logs on the Exchange box indicating query failures to AD?

2 of my GC/DC's are in the same site as Exchange and BES, 2 others are at remote locations.

No errors on the Exchange server regarding AD.
