Locking Down Email via BES / IT Policy

When our users go on leave (medical or otherwise) we want to not only disable the redirection of new messages to their BB, but also prevent them from sending email from their work account. We don't want to disable all data, and we want to leave the phone active.

Looking over the IT Policy, I don't see a way to do this (unless I'm completely missing something) and the only logical way I can see to do this would be to delete their account from the BES and then add them back in when they return from leave. This of course isn't an ideal solution.

Do you guys know of any way we can accomplish this? Thank you in advance for all your help.
