What do you mean?

There isn't really a 'BES address book'. BES will sync your email client's address book (personal) and allow lookup to the GAL.

In effect, the address book sync'ed to the BB is the Contacts folder from Outlook. It is pricate to your Exchange account. You can do a lookup of the entire enterprise address book as well.

the user doesn't want to sync address book to BES. He wants separate address book to appear on bb.

is it possible to import personal address book as pst file to BIS email account ?

Address book does not sync to BES. BES allows sybc of contacts, calendar, notes, etc, from your corporate email account.

If you are on a BES the only solution is to disable the OTA sync for the contacts. You may have to get your BES admin involved.

Could always remove them from the BES and allow OWA access for the person to get their email.

BIS access is often a no-no because it places corp info on a non corp controlled device.
