Is it just me or is BESX + OS7 a buggy combo ?

Hi,

The title says it all really.

Is it just me, or is the combination of BES Express (5.0.3.41) and OS 7 (e.g. on Bold 9900), a particularly buggy combination ?

Examples of delights encountered so far :

- User ownership information gets reset for no apparent reason (appears to mostly occur when policy modifications have occurred).

- IT policy pushes never complete, they sit forever with "Pending result" status, meaning that a back lock of other tasks builds up with "Not Ready to Deliver" status.

I could probably write more, but I want to find out others experiences. I would also be interested in any work-arounds people have come up with for the two above.

We just moved from a solid 4.1.6 environment to a new BESX 5.0.3.41 environment on a different box. The majority of our phones are the Blackberry Curves, 8330 or 9330 models. I have noticed that out of the blue syncing will stop or there will be quite a delay before the Blackberry syncs with the Exchange Server. We have encountered a user who doesn't get all his contacts as when he searches for them under contacts, they cannot be found, but if a text message or phone call is received or sent, it ties into the name.

Looking to see if there are any patches or fixes as my users are getting frustrated as am I.
