Default Issues with Exchange 2010

I have the Express server installed with Exchange 2010. Everything works so far but calendar sync. From what I can tell I need to install ExchangeCdo. Except when I go to do that, it states I require outlook 2007 installed. Well I have 2010 of office installed. Any ideas on how to get calendar sync working?

A couple of questions to get an idea of the issue, is your BESX on the same machine as your Exchange box?

A few things to checkmark:

- BesAdmin Permissions are properly setup (Most likely)
- Calendar Sync is allowed / set to yes in BESX (Default is on for default config)
- Make sure MAPI CDO is the same version .8147 + on both BESX & E14 boxes

Try those and see if that may help a little

Get rid of Office on the BES.

There are 2 downloads of 1.2.1 from MS. One, the one you have, is CDO only. The other also contains MAPI. You want the one that has MAPI.
