Default Internet connection

Is there a way for a phone to use SPrints Internet Connection for Data instead having all the data go through my corporate server?

For example, I was my phone to use only BES Connection to retrieve email, contacts, and calendar and such. But when it comes to internet and other things, I want them to use SPrints Connection so I am not going through the corporate firewall.

Thanks, I already tried searching, but not much luck on what search term to us.

Okay, it looks like there is a setting inside the blackberry advanced options for browser, I have the blackberry browser and internet browser. From what I have read so far, the blackberry browser goes through the firewall.

The internet browser goes through RIM.

I don't have a third option to go straight out through the internet. I am using the default IT policy, where would I make that change so I can have the third option.

Talk to your BES admin and see what "default policy" he/she has configured.

It is the IT default policy. I am the admin, I am all new to this blueberry stuff.

I did the phone settings as above and whatismyip.com is still showing my firewall IP address.

Try Enable WAP config. A full list of 4.1.6 policies can be found here.

Thanks GlenB, I will give it a go and let you know if that works.

Well, I just resent the policy and it successfully applied, but I still have only two options , blackberry browser or internet browser.
