Default Installing BES Express on same network with Existing BES Enterprise

I am trying to evaluate BES Express for cost purposes and I have installed it on a virtual server. We also have a BES Enterprise Server on our network on a different server. Can the two co-exist? Everytime I start the services on the BESExpress Server, users can't send emails from the Blackberries (Red X). On the BES Express server, I have the Exchange System Client and I created a new SQL Express Database. I read that you can have both versions running. Has anyone had a problem with this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Default

I evaluated my current BES Express on a VM aswell and it worked without a hitch.
I had it layed out like this
    SRV1 - Server 2003 & Exchange 2003
    SRV2 - BES 4.0
    SRV3 - BES Express
    All worked lovely together.

    How's your network layed out?

Default Installing BES Express and Enterprise on same network

    Server 1: Windows 2003 Server + Exchange 2003 Server
Server 2: BES 4.1 (Exchange System Manager)
Server 3: BES Express (Exchange System Manager)
For the BES 4.1 server, I am using the BesAdmin account and the Express server, I created a separate BBAdmin account with the same rights as the BesAdmin. I just can't figure out why the Express server would cause email issues on the Blackberries when I have not even added any users to it yet.
