Default Imported phone contacts not syncing with Outlook

I can't believe I'm the only person to have experienced this, but I can't find a reference to it anywhere.

The company installed BES at the begining of the year (before my time). A user had his Nokia phone contacts moved to his Blackberry by an administrator who has now left.

Everything works as expected apart from those old Nokia phone contacts not syncing to Outlook. They only exist on his BB.

I have scoured the logs (we have them all) for clues as to why these aren't syncing, but I can't find anything.

The only other thing that might be relevant is that the user's PC, BB and carrier are German. BES and Exchange are English installs.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to how to get these old contacts into Outlook?

ps - There is only one contact list on his BB

1. Is wireless sync option is enabled in BB?
2. If only some of the contacts are not getting sync, then there may filed mismatch or curruption in those contacts. Try to do wired sync with Desktop manager.

Wireless sync is enabled. We turned it off temporarily to do an ASCii export, however the desktop manager refused to complete the transaction.

Unfortunately the wired sync didn't make any difference.

Thanks for the thought, though.
