Default This has to be simple but I can't figure it out

We have 3 Domains:

xxxx.local <----Exchange Server 2010 Domain

yyyyy.com <----Remote Access Website

zzzz.com <----E-mail

I downloaded and installed BES Express on a 2008R2 Server Running Exchange 2010.

I used the tutorials on Blackberry's site to walk me through the setup of BES and creating users.

I can add a user, associate a device, but nothing further. Everything appears to be correct (the information in theBES admin page) but I get no e-mail or other functions.

It is almost as if the phone is not activated by BES. Is there a way to activate it WITHOUT using the wireless activation. That method is not working. Any help is appreciated and I can provide any further information.

What happens when you (from the device) go to Options > Advanced > Enterprise Activation and enter the email address and password (sometimes asks for mail server address too).

If it just hangs and says, Waiting for Activation (or something similar) make sure that users do not have rules set up in their Outlook that automatically move emails out of the default inbox. If they have this, it needs to be stopped (permanently) for it to work. BES only checks for email in default Inbox.

You can activate with Desktop Manager.
