handling meeting declines and cancelations

We use Domino 8.5.1 to sync with our blackberries, using BPS 4.1.4.17. Ever since we changed our carrier, and our blackberries, we have been having some unwanted calendar issues.

1. If a bb user is removed from a meeting as an invitee, the calendar entry on the bb is removed even if the cancel notice is ever opened.

If the person is then re-added as an invitee and she receives a new meeting invite and accepts it, the calendar entry is displayed on the notes calendar but never returns to the blackberry.

2. If a person declines a meeting invite because the time does not work, the person never receives any future reschedules of that meeting.

In notes, and I am assuming in exchange, if the user declines a meeting, she will still continue to receive reschedule notices.


On our old bbs (curve 8810) we had the issue with the declining of meetings, but we were able to perform our issue of canceling meetings as a work around. Now we have a serious issue of people missing meetings. Because we were not having both of these issues on our old bbs, I am thinking this is an issue with bbs, and not Notes.

We are now on Curve 8520, version 4.6.1 on AT&T (if that matters)
We are also having this issue on a few Bolds. I do not have the os version handy on those.

I have not found these issues yet. Does anyone know if these are known issues, and how we can fix these?
