You da man!! But....
They've only gone and released 2.0.1 this morning! Don't suppose there's any chance of an update?
P.S. How do you get the program copied off the device to make your BES pack? Creating the .alx file is not hard but how you fo you grab the .cod files?
Great work, thanks!

See above post, it's still at 2.0.0 for BES installs at least.
I didn't get them off the device. I know how to manipulate the URL's to get the COD files from google. It comes from years of being a penatration tester.P.S. How do you get the program copied off the device to make your BES pack? Creating the .alx file is not hard but how you fo you grab the .cod files?audit

Hi Audit
Cool stuff, will have to study the "dark arts" of pen testing and browser ident.
I just noticed it this morning when I did a direcect download to a colleagues device (www . google . co . uk / gmm /). Double checked and I'm definitely not tripping, it did install 2.0.1.

The BES version is just a zip file with all the different OS version's in it that allows BES Admin's to create a software configuration and push it out to their users. I've pushed out the 2.0.0 version to everyone this morning and am running a script on my webserver that's trying to download the new 2.0.1 BES version. When it does download then it will send me an email letting me know that it's done and then I can download it to my BES and push it out.

Certainly an interesting field to work in if you can get your foot in the door.
Anyway back to business. For those of you out there wanting Google Maps 2.0.1 for Blackberry 4.2 on BES (or desktop loader) here you go. Again this package is only for v 4.2.
If anyone wants to host this properly please feel free to do so. Sorry for the funny URL, I'm not yet supposed to post link. Also sorry if I have broken any rules by working round it.
