getting emails on BB but not Outlook

using BES. have a customer who recently started getting email on BB but not in Outlook. I could find stuff on BIS environments in the forum but not BES environments. What would cause this? Thanks.

This seems highly unlikely.

Assuming this is an Exchange environment, BES has to dip into the Exchange mailbox to read each message and send a copy to the device. Outlook provides a view of the same mailbox. Have you replicated this behaviour, watching the users mailbox as this happens?

The only time the BES will move or delete a message from the users mailbox is if the user does this from the device.

Did the user set up any rules in Outlook which woould be filing messages? The setting for 'Hide filed mesages' on the BB would have to be set to NO.
