I'm running BES 4.1.5 and have a user that when he forwards an email it arrives all scrambled like this:

Subject: ¥Á¶¡¤£°Ê²£½è©ã¶U´Ú¡C¤¤¤p¥ø·~ªøµu´Á¿Ä¸ê¡C¤u°Ó¶U´ÚªA °È¡C©Ð¤l*É´Ú¡C
Importance: High

¥N¿ì¤ä²¼*É´Ú¡A¤½¥q¤á¤ä²¼¡CÅwªï¨Ó¹q¡C¤½¥q¤u¼t¤jÃB½è *É¡C¥N¿ì¤ä«È²¼¶K´«²{¡C¡C²Ä¤@¦¨¥\¸ê¿Ä¡G¢¯¢¸¢²¢·-¢´¢·¢¯-¢°¢¯¢¶¡C®§§C«O±K¡C

The email looks normal in his sent items.
Has anyone seen this problem before?

if the user FORWORDs the mail from his/her desktop, do other people get the scrambled messages? if so, it could be the language default or TEXT formating on the desktop.

have you try the following steps?
1) change the setting on his/her device to TEXT format from HTML. if all goes well, change it back to HTML.
or
2) check the default language to make sure it's english unless otherwise.
or
3) perform a handheldwipe on the device and resynch it.
