Exchange 2010 BES 5.0 sync issues

We just moved from Groupwise to Exchange 2010 and BES 4.6 to bES 5.0. Our problem is with a couple of power users (owners of the company) that get a tremendous amount of email. They work hard both on Outlook 2010 and their BB, 9000 and 9700. They have outlook on their laptops in cached exchange mode using Outlook anywhere so the outlook sync is fine, the problem is they get so much mail they use their laptops to clean up their mailbox and after clean up it never shows deleted, read or filed on the BB. Vice versa if they cleanup the mail on the BB it is sporadic on what shows in Outlook. Some mail will sync, some not, so they are having to do double work and starting to ride my **** hard. Tech support has been no help. Anyone else seeing this problem. It did not happen but very occasionally when we where on Groupwise.

Just a couple question:

Is BES on the same machine as Exchange?
What version of Server is BES on?
Any error message on the BES server?

BES is on a seperate machine, it is running on Server 2008 R2, no errors in the BES

Has there been a resolution for this? I have a new Exchange 2010 installation. I went from BES 4.1 to BES 5.0, not being on the same server. There has been no special policies or anything set up on BES.

Before we made the move, the inboxes would sync properly. That isn't the case now, as the changes aren't populated over to the BB when made in Outlook.

Would anyone have any idea why this is happening or know the resolution?

If they are hard-deleting the email (shift-del), the BB won't sync that. It loses all reference to the mail and it becomes an orphan message. If they delete the mail on their BB, it will NOT delete on the server unless you have expressly set it to do that.

Did I miss anything?
