Default Enterprise activation using the wrong SIM

Is it possible to complete enterprise activation on the BES Express 5.0 with one SIM (with a BIS/BES plan), and then switch to a different SIM card without disruption in Microsoft Exchange synchronization, etc.

Thanks for the help!

Yes, it's possible.

Yes. BES communicates with the BB using the PIN.

It possible in the sense that you can activate the device on the BES however when you switch to a different sim that doesn't has BES data service then NO, the email sync will NOT work.

Yes, activation is tied to the PIN of the device but once activated, you need the BES data service on the device to work. Swapping to different sim that doesn't have data service will not work, others indicating that such will work are wrong.

If the sim swapped into the device has BES data service then yes that might work. Note that there is a difference between the data services, BIS, BES and normal internet data, a BB with swapped sim that has normal internet service will not allow BB functions such as BBM. A simm with just BIS data will not allow access to enterprise email sync to BES.
