Email is Syncing as read from BESx/Domino

I am testing a new install of BESx for Domino, and so far it has been a major learning experience - mainly from the Domino side of things.

I have setup a new/secondary domino server (8.5.2) running smtp and BESx 5.0.2. Most of last week, any issues I had had to do with my domino network. By adding a second mail server to the mix there were several connection documents that needed added, I had all sorts of issues with outbound emails from the bb. But, everything from the bb/besx was working!

I got most of the domino issues resolved on Thursday of last week. Then somthing odd happened. All my email/calendar/contacts are still syncing, but all the emails from my besx come to the bb marked as "read". Therefore I get no alerts or any indication that a new message has come in.

Email from my bis (hotmail) account syncs properly and all emails are marked new/read accourdingly. (It even syncs my deletions back to hotmail which is really cool since the same bb did not do that when it was syncing to BPS 4.1)

I have resent the service book from the besx server, cleared the in cradle flag, restarted the bb, and restarted the besx server. Finally I wiped the bb and reactivated it. So far, nothing.

I'm kind of lost on this one. Any ideas?

Anyone? I still have not made any progress.

I have 2 accounts on the besx server - one an admin, the other the connection to my bb/notes email. Could this be causing any issues?
