Default Email Synchronization

How does this email synchronization work on this Blackberry thing if I'm on a BES server?
If I open and delete an email on the BB, should it delete in Outlook?
If I open and delete an email from Outlook, should it delete from the Blackberry?

Inquiring minds need to know.

BES is full two way sync. Therefore, if you delete it on your computer, it will delete off the Berry. Going the other way is a little trickier. There is an option on the phone which you can set to Delete on Handheld only, delete on handheld and mailbox (computer), or prompt you each time.

It should also synchronize read marks. So if you open an email in one place, it should show that the email is read in the other.

Of course, this is only for the email account associated with BES. Results may vary with other email accounts.
