Default Email Reconciliation

Have a user that read some emails on his Blackberry, but they did not show as being read in Outlook. This is setup through BES and the laptop was turned off over the weekend. Could the emails not being showing as read on the laptop cause it was turned off?

First is the user on BES?

If yes then On Device also double check:

Make sure that Wireless Reconcile is set to On. Sometimes toggling that to off, saving it, then turning it back on.
Messages Options - Email reconciliation -
Delete on Mailbox and handheld,
wireless reconcile = Yes
On conflicts = Mailbox wins.

Also make sure the laptop is not downloading all messages to a local personal folders (pst) file.
