Question Dont think its a BES Issue.

Hey guys and gals.

My Manager has just for the 8250 curve and in anger has gave me the job of setting up the BB's.

Our Emails are hosted on our server inhouse. And we use outlook to recieve them from the server (Horde).

Because i know all my email settings smtp/pop, is it just as simple as adding the details in for my emails ?

Should we need BES or available on BIS (as i believe it is BIS )

Another question on top of this is, because this is a business contract shouldnt it be BES Automatically ?

Thanks Guys.

Default

Question is do you have a BES server?
If yes then you need to activate the device on it and it will require a BES dataplan.

For BIS you will have to log onto your BIS accoutn and setup email on it
