DNS from BPS Server forced on BB Users
Good Day,
I am the network administrator of my companys network infrastructure, including our Blackberry Professional Server (soon to be BES Express). When users with Blackberry's activated on this BPS server browse the Internet, their DNS resolution is based on the DNS settings of the BPS server. Is there a way around this?
Our corporate network filters out certain website, including sports, social networking, etc by changing our DNS settinsg to use "OpenDNS". I don't care if my BB users browse these websites from their Blackberries (just not from their PC's). As well, when they switch to their own home wifi connections they still seem to be accessing the DNS settings from the BPS server, even if they manually input their own wifi DNS settings??
Anyone have a clue to get around this annoyance?
TIA,
- Joe
