Default Device Switch Wizard and BESX

I did a little searching, but could not find what I was looking for.

We use BES Express and all of our BlackBerrys have BIS plans, they were all activated via the BB Web Desktop and USB.

I have a few users that will be switching devices and I was wondering that if they use the device switch wizard on a machine that is not on our local network, will the activation still switch to the new device properly?

For instance, if they install Desktop Manager on their home PC, and try and run the switch wizard to switch from their currently activated BB to a new one.

I don't have a device on hand to test this myself, and I would rather not have to call them all back into the office to handle the switching.

Thanks in advance?

I believe the activation is unique for each Device PIN therefore the activation would not carry over for the BESX using device switch wizard.
