Default Crashing BESX/Domino server

OK I finally got my BESX server running on Domino 8.52 --Almost! I was able to activate a BB and I've got messages running through the server but server will run for a while and then just die, as in the monitor will shut down, the power stays running but the server is completely inaccessible. I think I remember reading here that there is a fix or something that needs to be applied in order for this to work, but I did a search and can't find it. Does anyine have any ideas, or hints (or a link to the fix)?

Just to close this. It was a hardware failure in the server hardware, a closer look revealed several busted capacitors.

If by "fixed" you mean "new server hardware purchased and software reinstalled", yes.

Ouch. I hope you had a good backup.

I'm curious though....if the capacitors on the system boards went defective, was it heat related? I've seen capacitors swell and practically burst before and it was an airflow related issue. The client hadn't left enough empty space around his equipment per the manufacturer's recommendation and one of his core pieces of network equipment failed. After putting in a new device *and* purchasing and configuring a network management tool, he found that his equipment was self reporting temperatures of several degrees C above the approved operating regime. He was able to make changes and brought the temperature down by a total of 10 degrees C.

I had the "totally perfect" backup -- the hard drive from the old server, which was perfect shape because the Mobo was what went south in the old server. Don't know why the caps went in the old server, but it was old (2003 vintage), I got it on the cheap from my wife's company when they upgraded a bunch of their servers.
