I'm curious though....if the capacitors on the system boards went defective, was it heat related? I've seen capacitors swell and practically burst before and it was an airflow related issue. The client hadn't left enough empty space around his equipment per the manufacturer's recommendation and one of his core pieces of network equipment failed. After putting in a new device *and* purchasing and configuring a network management tool, he found that his equipment was self reporting temperatures of several degrees C above the approved operating regime. He was able to make changes and brought the temperature down by a total of 10 degrees C.
