Cannot login to BAS with new credentials

We had to create a new Blackberry Enterprise administrator user on our BES install because we had some security permissions issues that prevented the agents from starting correctly. BES was installed with the besadmin and we created a new user (bbadmin). With this new user in control, everything works fine except for 1 thing:

When we try to log into Blackberry Administration Services, (log in using Active Directory), the new user won't authenticate ("The username, password, or domain is not correct. Please correct the entry."). We can still log in through the "besadmin" user though.

I've already changed the credentials in the "Administration Service - AD Settings" tab. Any ideas, short of reinstalling under the new user? It's not a big issue, but I'd like to be able to remove the "besadmin" user completely.

We use BES 5.0 SP1 MR1 with Exchange 2010
