Default Can someone help with this BES questions????

My company is not yet interested in trying BES, however they say I can use it if it is something I can install on my PC and not bother IT with. Is this possible to install only to my PC?? I have been using BIS for years and would love to use BES. Help!!!!

It requires Windows Server 2003 SP1 or greater plus intimate knowledge of your email system to be of any use. I'm not so sure an IT department would allow such access. There is way more to it than a simple installation. You have firewall settings, LDAP, SNMP and a host of other things of high importance in order to make a workable solution.
