 Can only view some PDF attachments on BB
Hello all,
I'm currently having a problem with a customer's BES (Exchange v4.1.0.38). They first reported that they cannot view PDF files that are attachments in emails. After some further research it seems they cannot view PDF files that are created using a 3rd party PDF Printer/create (I.E. Cute PDF). They claim they can view PDF files that were composed using Adobe Acrobat. I tested the PDF's they have using my own BB that is not attached to their BES and I can open them just fine. I have a BB Storm and don't have a PDF viewer installed. My understanding is that if the attachment is opened and not downloaded you do not need a PDF viewer on the device. I'm totally lost on this and never heard of this issue. PDF's are turned on in attachment service and I'm still doing some extensive testings.  |
