Default Calendar sync intermittently stops working BES 5.0.2

Environment:

BES 5.0.2
Windows 2003 R2 x32

Exchange 2010 (1 CAS/HT server, 2 Mailbox servers -- Windows 2008 x64) w/ Exchange 2003 (Windows 2003 x32) mixed environment
Recently upgraded to Exchange 2010 from Exchange 2003. Exchange 2003 servers only exists to provide legacy support, all user mailboxes reside on Exchange 2010

Issue:

Users are able to wirelessly activate to BES server just fine, all data syncs and everything works flawlessly. After about a week or so, random users will start to notice that the calendar on the BB has no entries and isn't syncing with Outlook client (wireless sync enabled). This issue is usually corrected via typing "RSET" while in the calendar options screen on the device, prompting a re-sync with the server, however on several devices we've had to resort to wiping and re-activating. Mail flow and contacts sync appears to be functioning properly.

I'm skeptical to think this is an issue with how we have the server(s) set up, as the calendar sync feature does work as it should on most units, but I can't be sure.

Anyone else experience issues like this? Any suggestions? Is it possibly an issue where the calendar sync times out and fails for some reason?

Default Calendar

I am having the same issue you described with some of my BB users. Were you able to find a fix for this problem?

Check the latest install guide to make sure that you have setup the besadmin client throttling policy correctly. Another thing is to make sure that the besadmin account is not a member of domain admins. You should also use collaborative data object 1.2.1 version 6.5.8190 or newer.

Head on over to the BlackBerry technical solution center and check out the resolution part of KB20608. That will tell you what you need to do as for getting, creating and disabling the throttling policy when using BES with Ex 2010.
