Default Calendar sync on a 9700

Good morning,
This is my first post on Crackberry forums!

I was wondering if someone could help me?

I am investigating the calendar sync on a 9700, firmware 5.0.0.351, on the T-mobile UK network, we have an in-house BES and the calendar is set to sync wirelessly on the device.

Enrties are being made on the calendar through outlook by an assistant with full access to the calendar. Initially the entry appears in the Blackberry calendar as it should. Some-times the meetings have to be re-arranged, so the assistant makes the necessary changes in outlook and sends the update.

The cahnges show in outlook, but on 3 occasions the Blackberry has failed to sync with these changes and I don't know why? A battery pull resolves the issue and resyncs the calendar. I'm wondering if there is any other way to resolve this issue? The log files on the BES show that the appointment has been delivered to the device.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

There are a series of known issues with synchronisation of changes made by a delegate of a mailbox. I take it if you make the changes to your calendar then it all works ok?

To view some of the known issues, search for delegate at the RIM knowledge base.

Yes it seems to work fine when I make the changes.

Will have a look through the RIM knowledge database and see what I can find!
