Bluetooth connection to Desktop using BESX

I have recently migrated to using Blackberry and use BESX. I am havibg difficulties getting the phone to connect to Desktop manager using Bluetooth. My phone and PC are paired, but in the bluetooth profile on the phone, the Desktop Connectivity and Wireless Bypass options are disabled. Look through other postings, it appears that this is because some IT policies are by default set to disable these, but these policies only seem to be configurable using the full BES product and not BES Express.

Is this the case, and if so, is it possible somehow to change the IT policies on BESX to allow bluetooth synch with Desktop Manager?
