Blackberry Setup Automation

Hello Everyone

I have been given the project of making our Blackberry deployments quicker.
We are running BES 4.1.7.17 and get email from Exchange 2007. We currently deploy the Bold on Verizon and Sprint, and the Torch on AT&T.

When we setup a new Blackberry, we currently go through a 30 minute procedure of Enterprise Activation, hiding icons, deleting applications, and changing the background. Is there a way to automate some or all of this process? Looking to be able to assign a policy in the BES that will then do all the work. Is this possible? Is there another way to do it even if other software has to be involved?
