Default Blackberry Device Security

My boss has asked me to look into Security on BB's connected to a BES

At the minute we have no security enabled on the devices, and wifi and bluetooth are enabled

They would like the device to require password when switched on, when connected to a pc, and if someone try's to install apps onto the device, and display a message on the screen when locked to say if found please contact....

So far I have found the following:

- Max Password Age
- Min Password Length
- Max Password History
- Max Password Attempts
- Supress Password Echo
- Password Required for Application Download

What other policies should I be looking at using?
Has anyone else done this?
What was the response from BES admins or BB users?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm still very new to all this

There is seriously tons of IT Policy settings that relate to your question - and the list gets longer with each new version of BES.

For an easier to read list of BES 4.1.6 IT policy entries - see this BES 4.1.6 IT Policies : Birkbeck Technology

Some more obvious options relating to your question....

Show Application Loader
User Can Disable Password
Lock Owner Info
Set Owner Info
Set Owner Name
Disallow Third Party Application Downloads
....etc
