Default BESX Domain query

Do I need a registered Domain Name that is open to the Internet for BESX to work, or will it work with an internal domain that is not a registered Domain Name?

If you can email internally then the BES should work. Please bear in mind that the BES has to talk externally to RIM on port 3101 to route from BES to handset.

Thank you for the reply. So as long as I set up port 3101 to forward to RIM I don't need a registered Domain name for my network?
