BESx 5 Auto more broke?
We recently just upgraded to Exchange 2010 from 2003 and are migrating users to the new server.
Our blackberry users were using BPS 4.1, and I have installed the latest BESx on a new box to support the new Exchange 2010 server.
After migrating my mailbox to 2010, deleting from BPS, wiping my handheld and doing a new activation on new BESx server, I noticed the Auto More is broke.
When I try to view any pre-populated messages after activation, I have the header, but no body to the message. It just says More Available. If I try to scroll down, it will not download. I have toggled the Auto More option on the phone and no go. The only way to download message is to press BB button and select MORE ALL
I opened a case with RIM and there solution was to change setting on BESx server. The setting was under Message prepopulation settings, change Send headers only: to false.
Which is fine, and works, but doesn't fix underlying problem, because any sent items sent from Outlook that are prepoluated to phone after wards have the same issue still.
I verified that it isn't a phone issue, but reactivating my phone back to BPS and things worked fine.
The weird thing is when on BESx, it will "sometimes" work. I have seen it work a few times after activation and then quit.
I think this is a bug, but can't seem to get RIM to confirm that. I even had then activate a phone on my BES server and they had the same issue.
Has anyone else noticed this and have a fix?
