BESExpress - option to not sync contacts?

In BES Express there is an option when creating a policy to turn off the wireless syncrhonization option. Is there another way to prevent the users contacts on the device from syncing with Outlook and vice versa? I have several users who prefer to keep the contact lists seperate.
