Default BESE and Browser Configuration

I am new to using BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express. I am currently running a test pilot with 2 users. Currently things are working great for both users except the browser configuration has changed and is now using our Internet Services for browser settings.

This is resulting in the users getting Blocked Web Pages from our Internet Content Filter.

Is it possible to only have Email, Calendar, and Contacts to Push down? This is all they need from the server. I do not want to block Internet Content because these are their personal phones being used. Our school district does not provide the phones.

We do not run a proxy server or anything like that so we could point them toward that direction. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks

I figured out the answer to my question. You just need to go to advance options on the Blackberry and set the Default Browser to Internet Browser and not BlackBerry Browser.

The only browser that goes through the proxy would be the BlackBerry Browser. Have them switch their default browser to the Internet Browser and they won't have issues.

Going through the proxy could be advantageous if someone needs to access a site on your corporate intranet.

Yeah that is what I did. We don't have any intranet sites for them to access. It is strictly email, calendar, and contacts. Thank you for the help
